"Comfort Food with Attitude"

Shirley's, named after my mother, can best be described as an Upscale American Diner with a collection of Food's, Flavors, and Dishes that are some of my favorites, butcan never be found on one menu.

Each dish represents a person, memolry or flavor that I personally enjoy. It's not fancy, but eveything is prepared fresh to order and all sauces, entrees, desserts, etc. are prepared in house.

The flavor profile is pretty traditional, but each dish contains surprise "pings" or unexpected spices and accents that make ach dish unique.

Where else can you find a menu with Matzo Ball Soup, Fried Chicken, Banh Mi, Cubanos and Chicken Liver Pate? - Shirley's.

Shirley's tells the story of food and community as we wish it to be: simple, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

Intentionally, the menu has no specific "appetizer" section, but rather a "Simple Stuff" category. These are dishes that were brought to summer picnics, weddings, covered dish dinners, or perhaps in our lunch boxes.
